We were honored to host a table and share the experience with our staff and some of the amazing people we support.

The event was a powerful celebration of inclusion, strength, and community—values that are at the heart of everything we do at Overture. Thank you, Special Olympics Colorado, for hosting such a wonderful event. We left feeling energized and proud to be part of a community that champions opportunity for all.

As Overture continues our mission of cultivating self-directed opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, we're thrilled to welcome Matthew's leadership. His background as a former U.S. Army officer and founder of United Health Works brings valuable experience in mission-driven leadership and healthcare innovation to our organization.

Since 1969, Overture has been committed to empowering our communities to flourish, and this appointment strengthens our ability to continue providing premier services across Colorado, Montana, Nevada, and Wyoming.

We are beyond thrilled to celebrate Doug Stone for his recent 2024 Alliance award nomination. Doug isn’t just doing a job, he’s redefining what it means to be in his role in the most person-centered, heart-driven way possible.

In just six months as Intake Coordinator, Doug has become a one-man powerhouse, managing intakes across the entire state of Colorado. His work isn’t about simply placing individuals—it’s about creating perfect matches between individuals and providers, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and truly at home. And he doesn’t stop there! Doug follows up, listens, and adapts, making sure every person he supports has the opportunity to thrive.

What makes Doug a rockstar?
- He brings heart to a human-centered field, ensuring every individual is seen, heard, and valued.
- He thinks outside the box to craft placements that foster meaningful relationships and community inclusion.
- He’s a trusted leader and advocate, empowering individuals and collaborating with case managers, families, and providers to make life-changing connections.
